Lessons and Workshops
Private Lessons: Music
Rob offers private lessons on: violin, viola, mandolin, guitar, bass, voice, percussion, electronic instruments, and more.
Students learn instrumental technique, music theory, improvisation, groove (and groove-based music and repertoire: jazz, blues, rock, bluegrass, and more). Other topics include electronic and electroacoustic music (want to learn how to use pedals with your violin? Live looping techniques? Etc.), plus composition, songwriting, and audio production.
Rob is a published author on the myths and misconceptions of “talent,” and he strongly believes that anyone can learn to express themselves with a musical instrument. Whatever your experience or skill level, Rob will help you chart a course and achieve your goals!
